About

Having completed a carbon footprint of a month of my life, including all the food, travel, heating, entertaining, work and purchases, I discovered that half my carbon emissions are personal, half are due to work, and I am nowhere near the 1.15 tonnes which would be an equitable carbon allowance per person. Through this blog, I will uncover some of the most interesting findings, and what can be done to reduce carbon emissions in our every day lives.

How to define myself?

A Cardiff-based, Derby-born civil engineer who likes to cycle and eat vegetarian food.

I will try and not offend anyone on this blog. I am exploring ideas, and trying to understand how we can make the world a little more equitable. Please feel free to leave me feedback, or give me further ideas to investigate.

Thanks for your time.
